The journey of shipzero began long before its official launch in 2021. It started with a friendship between our founders, Mirko Schedlbauer and Tobias Bohnhoff, who have known each other since they were twelve years old. Over the years, they discovered a shared passion for data, technology, and sustainability. Both were driven by a common question: Why doesn’t the logistics industry use its huge amount of data to reduce its growing CO₂e emissions? With their combined expertise in data engineering and strategy, they founded shipzero to provide the answer. Today, we are a team of experts dedicated to making sustainable logistics a reality by transforming complex data into shipment‑level emissions intelligence and actionable insights for a greener and long-term liveable future.
